Army constructs toilets at Parshuram Kund

WAKRO, Jan 10: The Indian Army’s Chowkham battalion has constructed a set of three toilet blocks with water and electricity supply for pilgrims and locals at Parshuram Kund here, under ‘Operation Sadbhavana’.
The fully operational toilet blocks were inaugurated and handed over to the Parshuram Seva Trust on 10 January.
The Indian Army said it undertook the project based on the requirement of the locals, especially for the convenience of women. It said the project is part of the army’s endeavour to provide basic civic amenities and infrastructure to the local population of remote and inaccessible areas of Arunachal.
