ITANAGAR, Jan 10: The Itanagar Club has filed a writ petition, WPC (C) 10/2019, in the Itanagar permanent bench of the Gauhati High Court against the state government, challenging the issuance of land allotment to the BJP near the tennis court in D Sector here.
The petition will be heard on Friday.
The BJP is constructing its party office near the tennis court, on government land.
The issuing of land allotment to the saffron party is being vehemently protested by various NGOs and opposition parties. However, the construction of the party’s office is underway in full swing despite the protests.
