Health camp organised

DAPORIJO, Jan 11: As many as 160 persons from Menga, Taliha, Dumporijo and Nacho received free health checkup and medicines during a health camp organised by the CRPF’s 138 battalion here on Thursday under its civic action programme.
The battalion also handed over solar lights to Bazaar Welfare Society (BWS) secretary Tamin Guha.
Local MLA Dikto Yekar, who attended the camp, stressed on the importance of staying healthy, and urged the villagers to keep their surroundings clean and hygienic.
CRPF officer Paras Nath spoke on the civic action programmes and the need for cordial relations between the paramilitary and the civilians, especially in the border areas.
Guha and BWS chairman Nyalok Doni also spoke.
