ITANAGAR, Jan 22: The All Kamle District Students’ Union has sought the governor’s intervention in establishing a police recruitment (physical efficiency test) centre in Kamle district.
In a representation to the governor, the union on Tuesday expressed resentment that Kamle district has been “left out and denied” a police recruitment centre despite having sufficient infrastructure such as good road connectivity and a general ground.
The union said it would announce phase-wise bandhs in the district from 26 January to protest the exclusion of Kamle from establishing a police recruitment centre there.
