RGU remembers Bose on his 122nd birth anniversary

RONO HILLS, Jan 23: Rajiv Gandhi University organised a lecture programme to mark the 122nd birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose here on Wednesday.
In his lecture, former RGU Vice Chancellor Prof Tamo Mibang, while giving a brief biographical account of the great patriot, articulated on the complexities under which Bose had to lead the freedom movement from the front as one of its prime catalyst.
Vice Chancellor in-charge Prof Amitava Mitra stated that Bose was a visionary leader with great acumenship for mobilising the masses.
RGU Registrar Prof Tamo Riba also shared his views on great sacrifices of Bose. He informed that RGU Vice Chancellor Prof Saket Kushwaha has agreed to celebrate the birth anniversary of Netaji every year at RGU.
