SEPPA, Jan 27: Bameng SC, TTA XI and Type III FC reached the last four of the Abo Dali Singhi Football Trophy tournament here in East Kameng district on Saturday.
Interestingly, all the quarterfinals matches were decided through penalty shootouts.
While TTA XI and Type III FC secured their places in the last four, beating Chayang Tajo and Taiwa FC, respectively, it took Bameng SC 12 kicks for the tie to be decided in their favour after the match ended in a draw in the full-time against Anye Donyi FC.
Tok Ramjung (TTA XI), who saved three penalty shots, Lobsang (Type III) and Dari Lugu were adjudged the ‘heroes of the matches’.
