BOLENG, Feb 1: An ‘anti-drugs awareness campaign-cum-sanitation programme’ was organised jointly by the Siang unit of the Adi Students’ Union (AdiSU) and the Siang District Students’ Union (SDSU) here on Friday.
RMSA coordinator (Siang) Tahong Boko and Dosing Welfare Society president Tajing Mibang attended the programme, and spoke about the damaging consequences of drugs abuse.
Medical officer of Boleng CHC, Dr Ponung Perme, and PHE EE Subat Pertin were the resource persons of the programme.
Siang AdiSU unit president Leon Lomtung and SDSU general secretary Tanung Darung also spoke.
Dustbins were also donated to the Boleng GHSS and the Rengo middle school by the organisers.
