AALO, Feb 8: The Drug De-addiction & Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC) at Hiker Gumin here in West Siang has completed a year of helping and assisting drug addicts detoxify and recover in a safe environment.
A simple function was organized here on Thursday to mark the occasion.

Some of the recovering addicts who are now serving at the centre expressed their willingness to help other people struggling with drug addiction in choosing a healthy way of life.
Chairperson of NGO Mothers’ Vision, Jumde Yomgam Gamlin, its secretary Kenbi Jini Bagra, and others highlighted the hardships being faced by the NGO to run the centre “on voluntary and self-help basis.” (DIPRO)
