PASIGHAT, Feb 8: AGMUT cadre officer Kinni Singh took charge as the new deputy commissioner of East Siang district on Friday.
Prior to her new assignment, she had served as the WCD special secretary and the NHM’s state mission director.
After assuming charge, Singh said her priority would be to ensure a transparent and clean administration.
“All government schemes and projects would be implemented in letter and spirit, and special attention would be given to education, health, tourism, and disaster management sectors,” she said.
The new DC asked all government employees to maintain discipline and punctuality, and to be more responsive to the public.
Meanwhile, officers and officials of the DC’s establishment bade farewell to the outgoing DC Tamiyo Tatak, who will proceed to Itanagar shortly for his new assignment as civil aviation director. (DIPRO)
