ITANAGAR, Feb 19: Local MLA Techi Kaso inaugurated a community hall at AB Sector near the Raj Bhavan here on Monday, fulfilling the long-felt demand of the residents.
Addressing the gathering, Kaso said the community hall, constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 12 lakhs, would fulfill the need of the people of the area. He also assured to construct a modern badminton hall in the sector, “subject to availability of sufficient land for the purpose.”
The MLA informed that one of the important demands of the people of the capital – a burial ground – is being constructed at Chimpu and the work is nearing completion.
City BJP president Tarh Soping, former IMC councillor Gora Lotak and senior citizens M Kadu, Biri Tarang and K Jini also spoke.
