Governor reiterates appeal for peace

ITANAGAR, Feb 25: Governor BD Mishra has appealed to all sections of the society, including political parties and society leaders, to impress upon the people, particularly the youths, to bring back normalcy in the capital complex, which has witnessed arson, looting, blockade, vandalism and vehicle torching over the last four days.
“Vandalism and destruction of any kind affects the poorest of the poor the most. These, by no stretch of imagination, are in the interest of the state and
its people,” the governor said when some political leaders called on him at the Raj Bhavan here on Monday to submit a memorandum.
Mishra said the government has already dropped the PRC issue and this information has already been given to the people through various media. (Raj Bhavan)
