RAGA, Mar 2: The silver jubilee Nyokum Yullo celebration was held here in Kamle district on 26 February.
Among others, DC Moki Loyi, former minister Talo Mugli and former MLA Boa Tamo attended the festivity.
Loyi in his address lauded the festival celebration committee for adopting the resolution that there will be no gift or donation from the guests and that there will be one parental committee for the Boori Boot festival celebration.
These resolutions, among others, were adopted by the Silver Jubilee Nyokum Yullo Celebration Committee here, the committee’s chairman, Dr Kapu Sopin, informed earlier.
A Nyokum album titled Ngule Akin Beju and a souvenir were released on the occasion.
A few foreign tourists also attended the festival and witnessed the culture and traditions of the community.
Earlier, the gathering offered prayers for the youths who lost their lives during the anti-PRC agitation.
