KAMBA, Mar 10: Liromoba MLA Nyamar Karbak on Thursday laid the foundation stone for a vital steel bridge over the Siyum River here in West Siang district.
The bridge would connect Kambu village with the circle headquarters and serve as lifeline for the people of the village.
Congratulating the people for the upcoming structure, Karbak said the bridge would facilitate proper communication between Kambu and the rest of Kamba circle.
The bridge would be constructed by the Public Works Department with a total outlay of Rs 32 crores under the Central Road Fund.
Former minister Lijum Ronya and PWD Superintending Engineer Tumto Kamsi were present on the occasion.
