MODEL VILLAGE, Mar 10: Black Warriors FC (BWFC) beat their arch rivals Real Model FC 2-0 to qualify for the semi-final of the Model Super League (MSL) -2019 here at the Model village ground on Sunday afternoon.
Jokom Uka and Tai Nyom scored the two goals for the BWFC.
Degio Nanu of BWFC was awarded the man of the match.
In the second match of the day, defending champions Petwa United FC (PUFC) were made to fight hard to win and secure their position in the semi final with a 3-2 win against Thug Life Bulls FC (TLBFC).
TLBFC had taken the lead when Jomin Siram converted a free kick from the edge of the D-box.
However, Taw Akash soon scored a scorcher of a goal from near the centre line, equalizing for PUFC. Techi Tasar went on to double the lead and Tarh Gungte tripled it for PUFC.
Karo Dada pulled another goal for TLBFC, but it was too little too late.
Taw Akash of PUFC won the man of the match.
