ROING, Mar 28: NGO AMYAA organised an ’employers-students meet’ here in Lower Dibang Valley district on Thursday, with the aim of “making preeminent talent available to the industry across various verticals,” it informed in a release.
The event provided an opportunity to the students to access career options, and to evaluate if their skill sets matched up to the industry requirements, it said.
Representative of various establishments, such as Eclat Career Point, Linggi Sports Showroom, Friends & Bakers, Naruka – The River View Restaurant, and Siwundi Winds participated in the event and interviewed the candidates.
Five students were selected for various positions.
“AMYAA believes in a cohesive and integrated society in which all individuals have access to opportunities for personal and economic growth,” AMYAA secretary RK Paul said.
