NAHARLAGUN, Apr 7: The Indian National Congress’ Palin-Chambang candidate, Takam Pario, called on the people to participate in the “festival of democracy” for peace, progress and prosperity of the state by casting their votes.
Speaking to reporters at the helipad here on Sunday, Pario said the Congress has a planned vision and policy for progress, peace and development of the state on all fronts.
“The Congress has fielded 46 candidates and we are hopeful of winning a good number of seats with the support of the public,” Pario said.
In the matter of delay of projects and schemes, he said “we have already drawn a roadmap for the greater interest of the people and overall development of the state.”
