BJP will form govt, claims Rijiju

MANI, Apr 11: Union MoS for Home and BJP candidate for the Arunachal West parliamentary seat, Kiren Rijiju, has claimed that his party would win about 47 seats in the state assembly election.
Talking to media persons at the Mani polling station in Papum Pare district on Thursday, Rijiju said the BJP would “comfortably” form a government in the state.
He also said the citizenship amendment bill would not affect the voting pattern in the state.
“This is a non-issue as far as Arunachal is concerned, as we are a protected state,” he said.
He added that the large turnout of youths and women voters was “a good sign for the state.”
