NAHARLAGUN, Apr 12: Six shops were partially damaged in a fire accident that occurred at the Polo Colony market here on Friday afternoon.
The fire department’s timely intervention prevented major loss of properties, Inspector D Dulom informed.
“As soon as the information reached the fire department, fire tenders rushed to the site and doused the fire,” he said.
An electric short-circuit is suspected to have caused the fire, he said.
There was no report of any casualty.
