ITANAGAR, Apr 26: Functionaries of the state’s Samagra Shiksha (ISSE) project office along with representatives from all the 23 educational districts of the state, led by the respective DDSEs, participated in the state level workshop on formulating the Samagra Shiksha annual work plan and budget (AWP&B) 2018-19, which was held at the legislative assembly here on Thursday.
Chairing the workshop, Education Secretary Madhu Rani Teotia stressed on the need to prepare “a realistic and error-free AWP&B, as per the instruction of the union human resource development ministry.”
She informed that the textbooks for the new academic session would be “lifted and delivered to all the districts within a very short time for further distribution to the students.”
Samagra Shiksha DSPD Nangram Pingkap asked all concerned to prepare the AWP&B “as per the modal table provided to them,” while Planning & Pedagogy Coordinator MB Singh presented an overview of the AWP&B and requested all the participants to ensure timely online submission of their plans.
The state programme coordinators of the Samagra Shiksha Society presented briefs on the modalities of the plan.
