ECI to meet stakeholders of troubled Palin, Tali and Koloriang ACs

ITANAGAR, May 13: A team of officers from the Election Commission of India (ECI) will be holding a meeting with all the stakeholders of the Palin and Tali assembly constituencies (AC) of Kra Daadi district and the Koloriang assembly constituency of Kurung Kumey district at the Nirvachan Bhavan here on Tuesday afternoon.
An official communication issued by the Nirvachan Bhavan said the ECI has constituted a team of officers to examine various representations received by the commission in New Delhi for and against the re-poll which was held on 27 April in the three assembly constituencies, all of which fall under the jurisdiction of the Kurung Kumey district election officer.
All stakeholders, including the returning officers (RO) of Palin, Tali and Koloriang and the contesting candidates or their election agents, have been asked to attend the meeting with the ECI team.
The stakeholders from Koloriang are scheduled to interact with the team from 4 pm to 4:30 pm, those from Palin from 4:30 pm to 5 pm, and those from Tali from 5 pm to 5:30 pm.
After meeting with the stakeholders from the three assembly constituencies, the ECI team will meet the ROs of the respective polling stations.
