KHONSA, May 14: Two classrooms of the government primary school in Raho and the roofs and furniture of four classrooms of the government secondary school in Upper Kolam in Tirap district were completely damaged during the recent cyclone.
Tirap DDSE Pubi Lombi visited the cyclone-hit schools on Tuesday.
While taking stock of the damaged properties, Lombi assured the school authorities as to taking up the matter with the deputy commissioner to initiate steps for restoration of the schools’ infrastructures at the earliest. (DIPRO)
