HONG, Jun 16: Ajing FC lifted the 30th Hong Dree football tournament trophy for men, defeating Ex-XI Siiro FC 1-0 in the final match here in Lower Subansiri district on Sunday.
The winning goal was scored by Tilling Tajung in the 56th minute.
In the women’s category, XI Star won the tournament, while Sancha Nyimu FC became the runners up.
Lower Subansiri DC Chukhu Takar, who distributed the prizes to the winners, lauded the Dree celebration committee for choosing to celebrate Dree without using disposable plastic glasses, plates and plastic bottled water.
