CHANGLANG, Jun 19: The education department felicitated 10 CBSE exam toppers of government schools of Changlang district with laptops and cash incentives during a function at the government higher secondary school here on Tuesday.
Changlang EAC NK Namchoom felicitated Pragya Yadav (90.60 percent), Rakhi Chetry (86 percent), Sujit Kumar Singh (84 percent), Mencho Sena (83.40 percent), Nishita Mossang (82.40 percent), Rosa Nwazah (82.40 percent), Goter Riba (82 percent), Rochun Ronrang (80 percent), Rosmiko Tikhak (79.40 percent), and Rishikesh Raj (79.40 percent).
The EAC advised the students to work with dedication to achieve success in their chosen fields.
The department also awarded laptops to the top 10 achievers in Class 9 in the district who were selected through the talent hunt examination conducted under the CM’s Acharya Dronacharya Gurukul Yojana in 2018. The students will also be given scholarships of Rs 2000 per month for two years.
