ITANAGAR, Jun 19: Agriculture Horticulture, Fishery, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary and Dairy Development Minister Tage Taki was accorded a rousing welcome by people from all walks of life on his maiden visit here in Lower Subansiri district after becoming a cabinet minister.
Welcoming the minister, DC Chukhu Takar expressed hope that Lower Subansiri would witness new heights of development under Taki.
The minister also visited the BJP office and interacted with the party’s workers.
Taki’s win this year is a record in the political history of the Ziro-Hapoli assembly constituency. It is the first time that an individual has won the elections for two consecutive terms from the constituency. (DIPRO)
