AALO, Aug 14: Solar street lights have been installed in various locations within Aalo Township in West Siang district recently.
The street lights have been installed on experimental basis in the areas from Sipu Bridge to Samsan Ghat (Mebbu), Nehru Chowk to Medical Colony and Cooperative Chariali to GHSS gate under the initiative of West Siang Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan.
The DC sanctioned Rs 20 lakh from her untied fund for the purpose. Sachan also provided solar street lights at Siang Sadan compound and the Judicial Custody compound.
The Aalo division of Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency implemented the project in collaboration with the district administration. (DIPRO)
