DAPORIJO, Sep 16: Members of 18 self-help groups (SHG) attended an awareness programme on the Rashtriya Poshan Abhiyan and Ayushman Bharat, organized by the urban development & housing department here in Upper Subansiri district on Monday.
The programme was organised under the DAY-NULM of Daporijo and Dumporijo.
Daporijo UD Division EE Taniya Reb advised the SHGs under the DAY-NULM to encourage pregnant, lactating and nursing mothers to attend the Urban Health and Nutrition Day at their respective anganwadi centres.
Dr Tape Dakpe spoke on topics such as anaemia, diarrhoea, immunization, etc, while CDPO Ijum Doye Bui dwelt on “improvement of nutritional outcome for children, adolescents, pregnant women and lactating mothers.”
