Trityasopan camp concludes

TAWANG, Sep 20: The five-day state level ‘Trityasopan’ training and testing camp for Scouts and Guides concluded here on Friday.
Twenty-five Guides and 22 Scouts from various schools of Tawang and West Kameng districts received training for the Rajya Puraskar during the camp.
The students were taken on an exposure visit to various tourist and historical places in Tawang, and imparted training on first aid, improvised rope stretcher-making, character-building, etc.
During the valedictory function, ADC Lobsang Tsering paid homage to the founder of the Scouts’ movement, Lord Baden Powell, and advised the campers to make use of the techniques and knowledge they gained during the camp in their lives.
Tawang BSG DTO Yangdron Lhamu and leader of the camp, Tashi Neema, also spoke. (DIPRO)
