TAWANG, Sep 24: A ‘mini tribal food mela’, showcasing traditional Monpa cuisine, especially dishes prepared with locally grown organic grains and vegetables, was organised by the anganwadi workers and staff of the women & child development department here on Tuesday as part of the Rashtriya Poshan Maah.
During the event, Tawang ADC Lobsang Tsering felicitated the participants for their contribution to the implementation of the Poshan Maah in the district.
DRDA Project Director Lobsang Tsetan, CDPO Dondup Pema, DMO Dr Wangdi Lama, EAC Dochora Lama and CO Dechin Doka were among those who attended the event. (DIPRO)
