ITANAGAR, Oct 16: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) will conduct an inquiry into the alleged rape of a doctor by the Bameng MLA.
Informing that an adhoc committee has been constituted for the purpose, the APSCW sought the status of the alleged rape case from the police.
While urging police to conduct proper investigation of the case, the APSCW requested all sections of the society to cooperate with the police.
