DAPORIJO, Oct 19: Upper Subansiri DC Kanto Danggen advised the administrative officers and HoDs of the district to be proactive and “work with dedication and a decent attitude towards the public.”
Chairing a district level monitoring committee meeting here on 17 October, the DC urged the officers to provide better service delivery to the public.
After reviewing the status of developmental projects during PowerPoint presentations made by the departments, Danggen stressed on activating the subdivision and circle level monitoring committees to review the progress of the schemes’ implementation in the departments’ jurisdictions; submission of periodical reports and returns; timely submission of utilization certificates (UC); and following the guidelines while implementing schemes.
District Planning Officer Millo Pushang highlighted issues to be taken up on priority, such as submission of pending UCs under the BADP and the CMAGY for 2018-19; finalization of the pending 2019-20 annual action plan (AAP) under the non-BADP blocks; and finalization of the 2019-20 AAP under the CMAGY.
The BDOs of Nacho, Siyum, and Limeking-Taksing were asked to expedite the submission of information related to geotagging of border villages, as desired by the MHA. (DIPRO)
