JOLLANG, Oct 22: Faculty members, staff and students of the Himalayan University (HU) joined in the Hamara Arunachal Abhiyan by participating in a cleanliness drive in the university’s campus here on Tuesday.
HU vice-chancellor, Dr HS Sharma, who along with registrar Dr Vivek Mittal inaugurated the drive, spoke on the importance of cleanliness, and motivated the students to “abstain from chewing tobacco and spitting here and there.”
Dr Mittal said “cleanliness is the responsibility of everyone, and they need to maintain cleanliness and hygiene of their surroundings and themselves.”
The students also cleaned their classrooms, library, laboratories, etc, during the drive.
