ITANAGAR, Nov 2: The 6th Chief Minister’s Sub-Veteran and Veteran Badminton Championship will be held at Jairampur, in Changlang district, from 27 to 29 November.
The championship consists of men’s and women’s singles and doubles, as well as mixed doubles events, and will be held for four age groups. They are 35+, 40+, 45+ and 50+. The mixed doubles event will be conducted only for the 35+ age category.
More than 800 players from 20 districts, the Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy, and the Capital Badminton Association are expected to participate in the championship.
The championship is being organized by the Changlang District Badminton Association, under the aegis of the Arunachal State Badminton Association.
