KEAK, Nov 2: The 2nd Jumtum Tato Memorial Volleyball Tournament for both men and women began at the playground of the school here in Kamba circle of West Siang district on Saturday.
The opening match was held in the men’s category, in which Pushi Bango Sports Club beat defending champion Dongin Ao Sports Club in two straight sets.
Nineteen women’s and nine men’s teams from West Siang, Siang, Shi-Yomi and Leparada districts are participating in the tournament.
Deputy Commissioner (in-charge) C Chukhu, DDSE Eto Ete, and WSDSU president Lukken Gamlin, among others, attended the opening ceremony. (DIPRO)
