KAMBA, Nov 6: The welcome gate was of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) office complex here was formally inaugurated by ADC Gobi Nyicyoron Monday and dedicated to noted social worker and former public interpreter, late Yajom Nomuk.
The gate is expected to secure the compound of the ADC office from entry of stray animals etc.
Nomuk, who played a pivotal role in creation of Kamba circle and establishment of Kamba administrative headquarters, had also donated many acres of land for establishment of the headquarters without any compensation.
The programme was attended by all heads of departments of Kamba subdivision, public and family members of late Nomuk. (DIPRO)
