BASAR, Nov 6: Kra Daadi and Sports Authority of India (SAI)’s special area game centre, Naharlagun were declared champions in the junior girls’ and junior boys’ category, respectively in the 2nd Jarbom Gamlin State Level Boxing Championship held here in Lepa Rada district from 1 to 4 November.
The runners-up title in the junior boys’ and girls’ categories went to Pakke-Kessang and Papum Pare respectively.
SAI also emerged champion in the sub-junior boys’ category and won the runners-up title in the sub-junior girls’ category.
Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy (SLSA) were the champions in the sub-junior girls’ category and runners up in the sub-junior boys’ category.
Tadar Tagar of Kurung Kumey was declared best boxer in the junior boys’ category. The title for the best boxer in the sub-junior boys’ category
was won by Lukhom Komda of SLSA.
Tai Tutu of Kra Daadi and Gora Yalung of SAI were adjudged as the best boxers in the junior girls’ and sub-junior girls’ category respectively.
