Workshop marks 66th All India Cooperative Week

NAHARLAGUN, Nov 20: A workshop themed ‘Cooperatives for youth, women and weaker sections’ and ‘Financial inclusion, technology adoption and digitalization through cooperatives’ was conducted as part of the 66th All India Cooperative Week which concluded here on Wednesday.
During the valedictory function held at the conference hall, Polo Colony here, resource persons State Mission Manager of the state rural livelihood mission (SRLM) Hillang Tasap gave an overview on women empowerment in the state, while Cooperative Apex Bank Manager (IT) Taba Oya spoke on financial inclusion, technology adoption and digitalization through cooperatives.
Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies B Gammeng, officers and board of directors from the district cooperative union and primary cooperative societies also attended the programme.
