PASIGHAT, Dec 8: Ninety-five NCC cadets from JN College (JNC) and DEM government higher secondary school, along with NCC officers and staff took part in plogging here in East Siang district on Sunday, and collected 30 kgs of plastic and garbage from public places, covering a distance of 5 kms.
Cadets of the 22 AP NCC also carried out plogging at Mebo, Aalo, Yingkiong, Rumgong and Bilat. The cadets will continue plogging till 15 December to create awareness on the need to create a plastic- and garbage-free environment. (DIPRO)
