KHARTOTH, Dec 20: The Tawang district administration and other government departments provided services to the people during a Sarkar Aapke Dwar (SAD) camp organised at Khartoth village on Friday. The camp benefitted the villagers of Khartoth, Paikhar, Yuibu, Dharmkang and Gyangkhar.
DC Sang Phuntsok, who inaugurated the camp, also felicitated the toppers of the government primary school here, and distributed vegetable seeds among the villagers.
Among others, Tawang ADC Lobsang was present at the camp.
In East Siang district, Mebo MLA Lombo Tayeng inaugurated the SAD camp at remote Seram village on Friday, in the presence of, among others, Mebo ADC Hage Lailiang, DPO S Sharma, and Namsing CO Khoda Lhasa.
The Tirap district, 825 beneficiaries from Sipini, Sumsipathar and Namsang villages benefitted from the SAD camp held at Sipini village.
Khonsa ADC Jalash Pertin briefed the beneficiaries on the concept and objectives of conducting such camps, and Deomali ADC Penga Tato urged grassroots workers, GBs, religious leaders, and other stakeholders to create awareness among the villagers about such camps.
The two ADCs distributed free yarns to 45 weavers, besides various certificates and benefits.
A SAD camp had earlier been held at Old Bunting village, benefitting 785 beneficiaries from Old Bunting, Chomuithung and Longbo villages. (DIPROs)
