Capital Complex, Papum Pare to meet in volleyball final
SEPPA, Jan 19: Capital Complex and Papum Pare will meet in the final of the boys’ volleyball match in the ongoing U-18 State Level Hangpan Dada Memorial Tournament here in East Kameng district.
The boys’ team of Capital Complex defeated Kamle, while Papum Pare defeated Kra Daadi in the semifinals.
The girls’ volleyball team of Capital Complex also made it to the final after defeating Kamle, and will be up against Lower Subansiri in the final. Capital Complex entered the final after defeating Kurung Kumey.
In boys’ football, the teams of Lower Subansiri and Anjaw have reached the semifinals.
Earlier in the day, Lower Subansiri defeated East Siang by 4-0 and Anjaw defeated Capital Complex by 2-1 in the quarterfinals.
Papum Pare will play against Upper Subansiri and Kurung Kumey will be up against Kra Daadi in the quarterfinals on Monday.
In girls’ football, Lower Siang defeated Siang by 5-1, and East Kameng defeated Tawang by 3-0 in the group stage. (DIPRO)
