ZIRO, Feb 5: The 138 Bn CRPF established a library at Government DK Higher Secondary School here in Lower Subansiri district and donated bookshelves, books, tables and chairs for the library under its civic action programme on Wednesday.
The 138 Bn CRPF Second-in-Command, Harish Chandra Kumar informed about the regular activities of the CRPF under its civic action programme for the benefit of local people wherever the CRPF is deployed.
“The CRPF is always ready to help the people and anybody can approach CRPF without hesitation,” he added.
SP Hemant Tiwari, ADC Nending Chatung and school vice principal Jage Gambo, who were present in the programme, appreciated the work of the 138 Bn CRPF and said that the library will be very useful to school students.
