DAPORIJO, Feb 19: A marathon themed ‘drugs free society’ was jointly organized by the Subansiri River Festival, Sippi-2020 committee and Upper Subansiri district administration here on Wednesday as part of the upcoming three-day Subansiri River Festival, Sippi-2020 which is slated to begin from 21 February.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Kanto Danggen flagged off the marathon from Gandhi market which later culminated at the festival venue in Sippi.
Tapo Darba, Tato Dui and Ratam Dui secured the first, second and third place in the marathon, respectively. (DIPRO)
