ITANGAR, Feb 19: Power supply to the districts of West Siang, Siang, Upper Siang, East Siang, Lower Siang, Dibang Valley, Lower Dibang Valley, Lohit, and Namsai will remain disrupted completely or partially from 6 AM of 21 February to 5 PM of 24 February due to repair work on Daporijo-Aalo transmission line.
The 165th OCC of NERPC has approved the shutdown on request of the Department of Power to carry out major repair of Tower No. DATL 003 of Daporijo-Aalo 132 KV segment of transmission line, which has been caused due to soil erosion, informed a release from Superintending Engineer SO & PSC Circle, Itanagar, Nangkong Perme on Wednesday.
