CHIMPU, Feb 22: After being handed a 0-2 defeat by reigning champion Gora Makik SC in their second match, Capital Complex FC roared back to rout last year’s runners-up Todo United FC 5-1 in the Indrajit Namchoom Arunachal League (INAL) here on Saturday.
Sandeep Alay netted in the 7th minute to give Capital Complex an early lead. Todo United were yet to settle down when Tagru James struck the second goal in the 10th minute.
Vivek Gurung scored twice, in the 25th and the 32nd minute, to further stretch the lead (4-0). The fifth goal for CCFC was scored by Dorjee Tsewang in the 49th minute.
The consolation goal for Todo United came in the dying minutes of the game through Kamin Darin.
Bamang Taji FC will meet Kargu Kardi FC on Sunday.
