ITANAGAR, Feb 22: The volleyball competitions being organized for both the sexes as part of the Nyokum Yullo celebration at Nyokum Lapang here have entered the semifinal stage.
In the men’s section, Panchali Volleyball team will meet Tacho ku Welfare Society in the first semifinal, and Er Tai Nikio Volleyball Club will play against Dado Moshi Club in the second semifinal.
In the women’s section, the first semifinal will be played between Er Nangram Piter Sporting Club and Kamle Nijer team. Bamang Ayi Aate team will be up against Gungli Eelfare Society in the second semifinal.
All the semifinal matches will be held on Sunday, the organizing committee informed.
Saturday’s match results:
Men: Dado Moshi Club beat Panchali Volleyball team; Tacho ku Welfare Society beat 138 Bn CRPF; Er Tai Nikio Volleyball Club beat Panchali Volleyball team.
Women: Gungli Welfare Society beat 7D Colony, Chimpu; Er Nangram Piter Sporting Club beat Kamle Nijer; Gungli Welfare Society beat Bamang Ayi Aate.
