BASAR, Feb 25: A district-level training programme for the charge officers of Leparada district engaged in census works was organized here on Tuesday.
The officials were trained on house-listing, housing census, and the process for updating the National Population Register by a team of trainers from the Shillong (Meghalaya)-based census directorate, headed by Assistant Director Jamil R Swer.
They were also trained on how to use census materials and carry out census enumeration using digital technology.
Leparada DC Duli Kamduk spoke about the importance of the census and the aim of Digital Census, 2021.
