PASIGHAT, Feb 27: A workshop on ‘Petroleum product conservation in agriculture sector’ for 29 farmers and rural youths using tractors, power tillers, oil engines and other farm machineries and equipment was held at the College of Horticulture & Forestry (CHF) here in East Siang district on Thursday.
During the workshop, which was chaired by CHF Dean, Dr BN Hazarika, and ‘directed’ by CHF associate professor, Dr Saroj Kumar Pattanaaik, the participants were apprised of the importance of conserving petroleum products, as well as the steps to save the precious resource.
