KOLORIANG, Feb 29: A total of TGT trainees took part in the department of education conducted ‘Nishta’ training at old DC conference hall here in KurungKumey district on Saturday.
Kurung Kumey deputy commissioner Kento Riba, in his inaugural speech, urged the teachers to perform their duty with sincerity as ‘teachers are the nation builders.’
“Teachers play a vital role in the holistic development of children by promoting amongst them the ability to respond to life in a flexible, creative manner and instilling among them sensitivity towards others’ well being,” he said.
He further informed the trainees that the teachers of zero enrolment schools will soon be posted at other functional schools.
