AALO, Mar 8: Newly inducted members of the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) and the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) participated in an orientation programme organized here by the West Siang district child protection unit (DCPU) and the district legal services authority on Saturday.
CJM Habung Tangu and West Siang Bar Association president Minrik Noshi apprised the participants of the powers and functions of the JJB and the CWC, and their work procedures, while Baye Koyu from the DCPU assured to take up the issues related to the functioning of the JJB and the CWC to address?child-related issues promptly.
Representatives of Mother’s Vision, the APWWS, and Galo Ane also participated in the programme. (DIPRO)
