DAPORIJO, Mar 12: The 138 Bn CRPF installed six LED solar streetlights here in Upper Subansiri district on Thursday as part of its civic action programme.
The battalion’s 2-I/C, Harish Ch Kumar, dedicated the streetlights to the residents, in the presence of SP Taru Gusar and market secretary Tamin Guha.
Gusar urged the public to support and cooperate with the police and the CRPF in maintaining law and order, while Kumar said the CRPF regularly conducts such programmes for the benefit of the civilians.
