YINGKIONG, Mar 14: The Upper Siang district administration, the panchayati raj department and the SIRD jointly organized a district-level workshop on ‘pre-panchayat election awareness for general masses’ here on Saturday.
The workshop was held concurrently with an awareness programme on ‘marriage mark and kuyet’, organized by the ABKWW (Apex); poshan pakhwada organized by the ICDS DD; and an orientation workshop on the Rogi Kalyan Samiti, organized by the District Health Society.
DC Taper Pada, ARA APO Obang Nobeng, and PTA Dubom Teng spoke on ‘pre-panchayat election awareness’.
HoDs, panchayat and public leaders, members of SHGs and NGOs, GBs, and others also participated. (DIPRO)
